01

PV PLANT INSPECTIONS

On-site inspections to identify defects, damage and maintenance requirements across:

  • PV modules
  • mounting structures
  • DC system and cable routes (including String Testing, Voltage / Insulation Resistance / Irradiance Measurements)
  • connectors and visible electrical components
  • inverters
  • site infrastructure
  • perimeter, fencing, gates and access points
  • CCTV and auxiliary site equipment where applicable

Identification and documentation of damaged modules, disconnected or damaged connectors, visible cable defects, mounting-system defects and other visible technical issues.

02

THERMOGRAPHIC INSPECTION

Thermal imaging performed under suitable environmental and solar irradiation conditions to identify abnormal temperature patterns and potential technical issues.

  • inverter thermography
  • transformer thermography
  • detection of hot spots
  • detection of overheated connections
  • identification of thermal anomalies
  • identification of potential equipment failures

Findings should be documented and included in the inspection report.

03

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

  • mechanical inspections
  • bolt torque checks
  • fastening-element inspection
  • connection checks
  • DC cable management
  • correction of loose or sagging cables
  • prevention of cable contact with the ground or sharp edges
  • minor mechanical adjustments
  • minor repairs
04

PV SITE MAINTENANCE

  • module cleaning
  • vegetation management
  • removal/trimming of vegetation causing module shading
  • maintaining safe clearances around equipment and structures
  • removal of waste and debris
  • cleaning around transformer/inverter areas
  • general site housekeeping
05

CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE

  • PV module replacement
  • damaged DC cable replacement
  • DC cable corrections
  • connector-related corrections where applicable
  • mechanical corrections
  • minor mounting-structure repairs
  • correction/replacement of loose or missing fastening elements
  • rectification of identified defects
06

INSPECTION & REPORTING

  • defect identification
  • photographic documentation
  • location reference / GPS where applicable
  • defect priority/severity classification
  • recommended corrective action
  • maintenance observations
  • repair/correction status
